Formax Bursters - Formax Bursters are used to separate or "break apart" continuous feed business forms or computer paper at the horizontal perforation. In many cases, the pin-feed on each side of the form is removed automatically and in some applications center slitters are used to further separate the form vertically into a left and right piece. Users with high volume will often run a Merger in-line with the burster to allow "two-up" processing. Two-up processing increases the output volume two-fold by taking a continuous business form printed two-up or side-by-side, slitting the two forms in the middle and feeding them into the burster in staggered format to come out of the machine in one neat and orderly stack. Four different models of Industrial Bursters are available to fit almost any environment. All of our models can be custom ordered to meet every customer's particular needs by including a wide array of options such as pin-feed trimmers, tractors, imprinters, power drop-stackers for high output, mergers and much more.

Formax Decollators - Formax Decollators are used to separate multi-part continuous forms prior to being run through a Burster. Decollators are commonly used to separate anywhere from two to six-part forms in one pass. Continuous business forms still using traditional carbon between sheets can also have the carbon removed and rolled into a neat pile to be discarded. Formax Decollators also have the option of including slitters for removing pin-feed, and tractors for smooth processing.

Tabletop Bursters

The FD 500 heavy duty Table Top Burster is a machine to meet almost any forms handling requirement. The FD 500 with side trimmers operates at up to 90 feet per minute and can separate one to six-part forms


Low Volume Industrial Bursters

This low-volume burster series offers industrial quality at an economical price. Virtually all of the standard features offered in the higher end models are available to meet any need or application.

Medium Volume Industrial Bursters

At speeds up to 350 feet per minute, this medium volume industrial series can process multiple part forms with ease.

High Volume Industrial Bursters

This high volume industrial burster is designed to process large bursting jobs at speeds up to 500 feet per minute while slitting, separating and stacking the forms. As with all of the industrial bursters, a conveyor unit is standard. A power drop-stacker can be added to enhance productivity.
Formax Decollator

FD 524 Two Part "A" Frame Decollator

The FD 524 floor model "A" frame decollator separates two-part forms in a single pass. Multipart forms can be processed by processing them multiple times. Carbon interleaved or carbonless forms can be processed with variable speed up to 450 feet per minute.


590 Series Multi-Station Industrial Decollator

This multi-station industrial decollator can be expanded to trim and separate up to six part forms at speeds up to 475 feet per minute. Tractor feed, margin slitters and safety jog switches are included for high performance decollating.

Formax FD 556 Merger

The FD 556 Merger is an independent unit controlled by a photoelectric sensor. This unit will slit a two-up form, merge the forms together running in tandem with a tractor feed burster. The Imprinter Merger Model FD 558 will imprint two signatures simultaneously while slitting and merging.
