The MAVERICK® M-800 Check Stripping System provides you with an affordable solution to streamline your central or branch return operation. Processing items that are returned, damaged, or rejected is a costly and time critical problem. Damaged and rejected checks must be repaired and processed efficiently to avoid holdovers and to obtain maximum availability of funds.

Enhance the bottom line of your check processing operation by reducing time, expense, and the float associated with reject hold-over. Do away with expensive carrier envelopes and virtually eliminate charge back costs associated with low speed processing.

The fact is that the advent of Check 21 digital imaging will likely render check carriers obsolete. The inability to obtain a quality image through a carrier will cause the processing center to utilize low speed processing which will come at a considerable cost.

The MA VERICK® M-800 stripper series will allow you to strip and encode both the old and new MICR line in one pass. This system combines speed and ease of use in a small footprint.

The system is available in Stand-alone Stripper, Autofeed/Strip, or Strip/Coder configurations. The Strip/Coder is available with Batch, POD., or Exception MICR applications. Depending on the model you choose, you can strip, encode, list, and update by totals in a single pass. Our systems are also capable of utilizing either small or large rolls of single or 2-ply stripping paper.

Fast
The M-800 series can strip atarate of 3,200-3,600 documents per hour. Whether you autofeed, handfeed, or encode, your work can be virtually run at the same speed. Although our system is very affordable, our transports are built to allow you to process up to 20,000 documents per day

Quiet
The M-800 series utilizes unique technology to minimize noise generated by the stripping and encoding process.

Display
Built-in display allows you to store operator, and maintenance information. The unit displays error messages
as well as provides you the ability to calibrate the unit.

Stripping Material
Unlike other strippers, the M-800 series can use either a single
or a 2-ply stripping material in both 600' and 1,250' length rolls. Our rolls are easily threaded with an autoload feature to minimize downtime.

Snap-In Ribbon Cartridge and
Maintenance Free Hammer
Replacing the MICR ribbon cartridge on the encoder is simple and fast. A unique maintenance free metal hammer eliminates the need to replace the MICR print hammer with each new ribbon. This new metal hammer has an average life of 65 million print characters.
