SC Active 4000 Value Sorter The SCAN COIN Active 4000 is SCAN COIN's flagship coin counting and sorting machine. Using state of the art technology, the Active 4000 offers an unrivalled combination of speed, accuracy, flexibility and ease of use.

• Operating speed of up to 4000 coins per minute
• Counts and sorts up to 16 different coins into 8 bags simultaneously; unrecognized coins can be sorted into a reject cup or 9th bag
• Electronic coin detection and differentiation allows the unit to be 'reprogrammed' to take new coins and tokens without expensive hardware modifications.
• Flexible sorting; any denomination can be allocated to any bag and more than one bag allocated to each denomination.
• 640 x 400 pixel LCD monitor graphically shows the levels of coin in each bag.

• By using more than one bag for each coin, the Active 4000 will automatically switch to the next bag when the current bag becomes full. If all bags are full, coins of that denomination are recycled, allowing the count for other denominations to continue. Full bags are indicated both on-screen and by indicator lights above each bag.
• An optional integral 32 column printer is included to produce a paper record of each transaction. RS 232 interfaces are provided to permit connection to external systems.
• Up to four identities can be allocated to each transaction. Numeric values may be entered from the keypad and alphanumeric values may be selected from preprogrammed lists stored in the machine's memory. Optionally, a barcode reader can be fitted to read identities directly from barcode labels.
• Built-in cash management system provides four levels of memory: transaction, sub-total, total and grand total. In addition to coin counted by the machine, the operator can manually enter values for notes (by denomination), plastic tokens, checks and credit cards.

For example, the machine can sort national currency denominations to eight outlets and a foreign currency to the ninth. In fact, you can allocate any denomination to any bag and more than one bag can be allocated to each denomination.
