The 20" ride was moderately heavy in weight (1900g) and the sound reflected this. Stick response was good, the bell was pronounced and the bow sound was clear with a multitude of overtones. As with the 20" model, the 22s I tried (2100g and 2200g) were full sounding, although I preferred this model to the smaller one because of the spread created while playing faster patterns.
