The 16" crashes (958g and 968g) had a sharp explosive attack that died away quickly and were fairly thick but full sounding. The 18" crashes (1376g and 1382g) were lower pitched that the 16" models but shared the same basic characteristics. With both models, the quick decay was very noticeable.
